The African American Museum Dallas will host its 27th Annual Gala and Auction, themed, Masterpiece Gallery: Let’s Do it Again, Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the new Omni Dallas Hotel, located at 555 S. Lamar, Dallas, TX 75202.
The evening will feature a performance by rock, funk, Latin and reggae fusion band, WAR, known for its hits including “The Cisco Kid,” “Why Can’t We be Friends,” and “Low Rider.” The group, who has performed all over the world, will entertain more than 1,000 guests at this black-tie affair, one of the most anticipated annual Dallas cultural and social events.
